Lycopodiella
Main stems procumbent, not flattened, fertile stems lateral, erect; leaves in spirals; fertile stems forming somewhat differentiated structures, intermediate between the cones of Lycopodium or Diphasiastrum and the undifferentiated fertile leaves of Huperzia, but closer to the latter.

This genus is included in Lycopodium by some authors.

About 38 species in all. 1 species in Britain and Ireland.
